What we believe

Belief in the Trinity: We believe in one God who exists in three persons: God the Father, God the Son (Jesus Christ), and God the Holy Spirit. This is known as the doctrine of the Trinity.

The Bible: We believe that the Bible is the inspired and authoritative word of God. It is divided into the Old Testament and the New Testament and contains the teachings, history, and prophecies important to the faith.

Salvation through Jesus Christ: We believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God who came to earth, lived a sinless life, died on the cross for the forgiveness of sins, and rose from the dead. Through faith in Jesus, believers are reconciled with God and receive eternal life.

Original Sin: We believe in the concept of original sin, which teaches that all humans inherit a sinful nature from Adam and Eve, the first humans. This sin separates humanity from God and requires salvation through Jesus.

Grace: We believe that salvation is a free gift from God, offered by His grace and received through faith. It is not something that can be earned through good works alone. We believe that faith and good works are interrelated. Salvation is by grace through faith, but faith is lived out through acts of love, mercy, and justice.

The Church: We believe in the importance of the Church as the body of Christ on earth. The Church serves as a community of believers who gather for worship, fellowship, and carrying out the Great Commission, which is to spread the teachings of Jesus.

Baptism and Communion (The Lord's Supper): We practice baptism as a symbol of cleansing from sin and a public declaration of faith. Communion, also known as the Lord's Supper, is a symbolic remembrance of Jesus' sacrifice through the sharing of bread and wine.

Love and Compassion: We believe Christians are called to love one another and their neighbors as themselves, following the teachings of Jesus to show compassion, forgiveness, and kindness.

Mission and Evangelism: We believe Christians are called to share their faith with others and to engage in mission work, seeking to spread the message of Christ to those who have not heard it.

Eternal Life: We believe in the resurrection of the dead and the promise of eternal life through faith in Jesus Christ.
